 SIMPLE ROUTINES FOR THE MORNING TO BEGIN YOUR DAY WITH PURPOSE


How frequently do you sigh when the alarm sounds? You press the snooze button repeatedly until you really must get up. You grab a coffee, stumble out the door while still dozing off, skip breakfast, and begin the day feeling hurried and unhappy because you're running late.

Or perhaps you start your day by scrolling through social media and emails before you even get out of bed, which keeps your mind preoccupied. Before you pick up your phone, there are a few easy things you can do to start the day off peacefully, deliberately, and consciously. For a better start to your day, try these three strategies.


1. Mindfully inhale and establish a connection to your inner self.

Spend a few minutes concentrating on your breathing and making a strong connection with your inner self before getting out of bed or even opening your eyes. Breathe in three times through your nose, then slowly and gently exhale through your mouth. After that, resume your regular breathing pattern while paying attention to your breath and the ups and downs of your abdomen and chest.

2. Remember the goal you have for the day.

How would you like to feel? Which mental state will help you the most? Which method of social interaction will you select? Make a commitment to check in with your objective throughout the day and modify your attitude and conduct as necessary. What effect do you hope to have on the present-day world?

How can you best look after yourself while going about your regular activities? Establish a clear intention for your day's behavior. Make it a confident, clear assertion. I can be as straightforward as "Today I will practice kindness toward myself and others" or "Today I will maintain my composure." Make it pertinent to your situation and the work you need to complete.


3. hydrate

You are aware that you should hydrate more. Make it simpler on yourself by drinking plenty of water in the morning before coffee, breakfast, and exercise. You can keep a water bottle or glass on your nightstand so you can begin the day properly hydrated!
